The Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA) is a global, volunteer-led organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing professionals working in higher education audiovisual (AV) and technology management. HETMA provides a platform for collaboration, professional development, and industry engagement through initiatives such as advisory boards, training programmes, scholarships, events, and community-driven resources.
The University of Oulu is one of Finland’s leading research universities, known for its strong focus on high-quality teaching, digital innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration across its faculties. OPE Centre for Pedagogical Support and Development Our newly established OPE Centre supports teachers and degree programmes by providing e.g. pedagogical guidance, digital-learning expertise and curriculum-development services. Its team of specialists works closely with teaching staff across the university to enhance learning design, promote inclusive and student-centred teaching practices, and strengthen the quality of both on-campus and online education.
