About this member

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international joint venture university founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University (China) and the University of Liverpool (UK). The University currently offers approximately 45 undergraduate and 53 postgraduate degree programmes across a wide range of disciplines, and all are taught in English. PhD opportunities are also available. Undergraduate students earn two degrees: an XJTLU degree from the Chinese Ministry of Education and a globally recognised degree from the University of Liverpool. Postgraduate students receive a University of Liverpool degree.

Universität Konstanz

The University of Konstanz is comprised of thirteen departments that are divided into three faculties: the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Politics – Law – Economics. The Opencast Community is a network of academic institutions, individuals, and corporate organisations using and further developing the open source video management system Opencast. Opencast was created to solve the need identified with academic institutions to run an affordable, flexible and enterprise-ready video management systems, and has grown into a robust community of innovators worldwide.

Italian Association for Media Education (MED)

MED is the Italian Association for Media Education. It was founded in 1996 by a group of academics, media professionals, teachers, and educators. Among other publications, since 2010, MED has published the journal Media Education. (https://oaj.fupress.net/index.php/med/index) MED works in the field of training teachers, school leaders, educators, university students, social workers, and media professionals. It also carries out projects (both national and international) for the experimentation of media education activities in formal and non-formal educational settings. In addition to regional events and training courses, since 1996, it has organised a national Summer School in Media Education. MED is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education for teachers’ training.
