Open the Box is a project by Dataninja to promote media, data, AI literacy in educational contexts. Since 2020, we have reached out to more than 6,000 teachers and educators, both in school and out-of-school contexts, who in turn have carried out educational activities with more than 40,000 young people between the ages of 11 and 18. In 2023, the European Commission awarded Open the Box the European Digital Skills Award 2023, first place in the Digital Skills for Education category. HOGENT – University of Applied Sciences and Arts

HOGENT is the largest University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Flanders offering a wide range of programmes at eight campuses across the cities of Ghent and Aalst, in the Flemish part of Belgium. The ILT team (Innovation and Learning Technology) helps and inspires educators to implement e-learning and technology enhanced learning. It mainly aims at activating didactic teaching methods, multimedia and blended learning.
